The MSR Xpedition ADV Helmet is the perfect helmet for Adventure, Dual Sport, or even UTV riders. The MSR Xpedition ADV Helmet w/MIPS features Multi-directional Impact Protection System (MIPS) technology, MIPS was developed by brain surgeons and scientists to reduce rotational forces on the brain caused by angled impacts to the head. Adding MIPS to the Xpedition helmet brings state-of-the-art safety technology for which other companies charge double. Safety is key with all MSR helmets. Xpedition also features an Anti-Fog Shield, anti-microbial liner and a wind screen under the chinbar area. It has an aerodynamic shell constructed of advanced poly alloy plastic for strength while being lightweight. A compound-curved, scratch resistant and optically correct shield protects from UV rays. The shield can be removed for open-face riding or goggle use. There are 11 points of ventilation to keep you cool on those warm days along with a comfortable mesh liner, which is removable and washable. To top it off the MSR Xpedition ADV Helmet meets or exceeds all DOT requirements.
